Antjie Krog is a South African writer and academic, best known for her Afrikaans poetry and for her reporting on the Truth and Reconciliation Commission.
She covered the Commission for the South African Broadcasting Corporation from 1996 to 1998, and her 1998 book Country of My Skull, drawn from that work, remains the central account of it.
